Melody Anderson

Melody is probably best known for "Firewalker" with Chuck Norris and Louis Gossett Jr. or perhaps from the "Manimal" television series. Some might remember her from the very awful "Flash Gordon" flick from 1980.

Me? I have actually seen every movie and television show Melody Anderson has been in. I have appreciated every one of her roles. I have sweated many a night over her cutesy looks and her lithe little form (which is amazing as I tend to prefer largerly ... hmmm... better... endowed women).

Melody had a pretty consistent career for about 12 years. She was on a bunch of television series, a gaggle of guest shots, a whole lot of television movies, and also a good number of feature films.

About 1994 she dropped out of sight and has not been seen since in any film or television project. I must be contented with her few nude scenes in film and her cutesy  pictures 'cause it does not look like she is coming back. *sigh*

Where is she now (08/05/02):
Interestingly enough, Melody gave up acting to become a well respected Substance Abuse Expert. She has been lecturing worldwide on many diverse topics, including (but not limited to) "The Cycle of Addiction, Sobriety, Relapse and Recovery", "Detaching with Love", and "Building Healthy Boundaries: You're Worth it!". Because of her experience and understanding of the specific needs of the film community, she was recently invited to consult on a television movie about women and addiction.

Her base of operations is in New York City.

So, Melody was NOT "left for dead". She left for LIFE. More power to you, hon!

Hmm! She looks a bit like Lauren Holly! That would be an idea: Have her come back to acting and play alongside Lauran in a project. Very good idea! Come on back to us Melody!
