Lorna Patterson

Lorna's career has always stumped me. She was the star of a television show (Private Benjamin) and was a very talented actress (both comedic and dramatic). Her filmography is very sparse despite that. She had several television shows to her credit, a mini-series, was in the original "Airplane!" movie, but her career fizzled quickly.

She lasted only 7 years in the business.

Lorna was (and probably still is) a wonderfully beautiful and sexy woman, a talented actress, so what happened? If anyone was "Left For Dead" by Hollywood it surely is Lorna Patterson.

Where is she now (04/09/02):
According to Lorna's daughter she left show business to pursue a more meaningful life. Lorna occasionally sings at benefits  and does other charity events. She currently lives in Los Angeles with her husband, 17 year old daughter, and 2 dogs.

UPDATED (08/05/02):
Thanks to "Tammy" for this update. It seems Lorna is still alive and kicking in the entertainment field. She was a found member of the Musical Theatre Guild and is seen in various productions around her area. Here is a more recent picture of her:
